Behavioural Science Diploma

This course provides training for students of all ages interested in careers in behavioural consulting, analysis, judicial, policing, corrections, research, and teaching. Most students who are admitted aspire to a position in furthering their academic endeavours at a respective university of choice; however, opportunities for employment in public and private industry or research institutes also exist.

  • Have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent or be at least 18 years of age and pass the Wonderlic Test
  • TFI Program Specific Application
  • Police Clearance (Background)
  • Driver’s License Abstract (must have been completed in the last six months).
  • Government Identification   [Two IDs are required driver’s Passport, and a driver’s licence).
  • CV and Mission Statement
  • Transcript of Record

For non-native English speakers

  • Successful completion of TFI  EAP Level as per program requirement
  • Have the required IELTS score or equivalent or
  • Pass the TFI  English Assessment (Written onsite or online with exam proctor)

About the Wonderlic test.

  • 15-minute test with 30 questions
  • Students will receive a link to complete the test, or they can have it completed at one of our campus locations.
  • Students must achieve a minimum score of 14 for Fundamental diploma. For all other programs, students must achieve a minimum score of 15.

Notice to the Learner

Progression to professional occupations in social services, such as family and marriage counsellors, social workers, and probation and parole officers, is possible with additional training and experience.

The above elements outline the essential skills and knowledge that our students must acquire and be able to demonstrate to graduate from our program reliably. The vocational and necessary employability skills components of program standards are expressed in terms of learning outcomes, as indicated above. The skills and knowledge gained will not merely list discrete skills or broad statements of knowledge and comprehension.
